Battery and E-motor Venting

Raval’s two-stage membrane-based valve allow for constant breathing and pressure balance. They prevent humidity and water penetration to the battery pack, whether at an IP68 or as per the customer’s requirements.

Ensuring optimal thermal management, our overpressure release with “burst membrane” or “spring load” mechanisms are used to obtain rapid pressure release in case of thermal propagation or thermal runaway.

Raval’s smart venting breather valves include smart multi-sensing edge sensors to analyze battery status for optimal safety and early thermal propagation and thermal runaway notification.
