FTIVs (Fuel Tank Isolation Valves)
Hybridization has clearly taken center-stage as the transition technology towards full electrification – and hybrid vehicle fuel tanks require ECU-controlled fuel tank isolation valves (FTIVs). These valves ensure controlled pressure within the fuel tank during the vehicle’s operation and controlled pressure venting and release during refueling.
